Fairweather
Weather app template.
A landing site for a weather app, or any app whose product is a calm piece of data. The page is a big sky behind frosted glass: one layer of glass, always over the photo, never stacked. The hero is seen through a rainy window, and the forecast panels are working pieces: minute rain bars, ten days on one scale, an hour scrubber and a radar you can play. Sample app: Fairweather, forecasting for Bergen (invented; every forecast, city line and price is sample data).

Rain on the window: the hero is seen through a wet pane (canvas beads and running drops); Play the next hour time-lapses the minute forecast so the rain thins and stops at 15:40.
