A minimal waitlist page.
Dawn is a waitlist site for a physical product, in the Minimalism style: a warm bone ground, ink, stone grey and one accent, dawn amber, kept for the sun, the submit button and one link state. A refined serif (Instrument Serif) for the big lines, a calm grotesk (Hanken Grotesk) for everything else, hairlines between rows, no cards and no shadows. The sample product, Morrow (a bedside light that wakes you with a thirty minute sunrise), its dates, price and specification are invented sample content.

The 3D moment
A thirty minute sunrise compressed into seven seconds: the sun climbs from behind a full-width horizon line, ember to amber to daylight, as the clock runs 06:30 to 07:00, then the clock becomes a slider that replays any minute.
What you get

- Home (
index.html): a centred two-line serif headline, one sentence and a joined email field, standing over a full-width horizon line where the sun rises; a four-stop "A morning" timeline whose small suns grow and warm from 06:30 to 07:00; a line drawing of the product with dimensions beside a spec list; a dark band with a night photo and a struck-through list of what the product leaves out; how the waitlist works beside a morning photo, with the price; questions in a ruled accordion; a closing form over a setting sun. - Your place (
joined.html): where the form lands. Shows the saved email, the date, the batch and what happens next; copy a link for a friend; use a different email; leave the list (with its own confirmation state). A browser that has not joined sees a designed empty state with a way back to the form. - 404 (
404.html): "This page slept in", with the sun below the horizon. - Form states: empty ("Add your email first."), invalid, loading ("Saving"), saved. Visible focus everywhere.
- Light and dark themes (follows the system, with a toggle that remembers the choice), phone to desktop.
