A Handwritten template for a personal blog.
A personal blog that lives on a page of a lined notebook: pale rules that the text sits on, a red margin line with handwritten notes in the margin, graphite pencil marks and one blue ballpoint. Handwriting is used only for the name, headings and notes; essays are set in a book serif for long reading. The blog, its writer and every essay are fictional samples.

The 3D moment
A little pencil writes the blog's name letter by letter on a ruled notebook page, then rings it and scribbles notes around it; choosing a topic circles it in ballpoint and strikes through every other post in pencil.
What you get
Straight from the template's README, the same file you will find in the repository.
- Home (
index.html): the name written and ringed in pencil with notes around it, the latest entry with a taped photo, the contents (eight sample posts with dotted leaders and dates) filtered by topic, a hand-drawn "now" box with a crossed-out first try, a short about with a doodle instead of a portrait, and the Sunday letter sign-up with error and thank-you states. - Essay (
post.html): a full sample essay with margin notes beside the paragraphs they comment on, a highlighted line, a crossing-out with its correction, taped photos, a pull quote, a footnote and links on. - 404 (
404.html): "This page was torn out". - Phone to wide desktop (margin notes move inline on phones), keyboard friendly, reduced motion respected.
