Crumb and Co
A handwritten bakery template.
A site for a small neighbourhood bakery that writes its menu by hand: chalk lettering on a green chalkboard in a wooden frame, ink sketches of loaves and tools, pencil arrows, tomato-red rings round the things that matter and crossed-out lines for what has sold out, all on warm kraft paper. Amatic SC for lettering, Patrick Hand for notes, Source Serif 4 for reading (never handwriting for paragraphs, buttons or labels). Light (kraft paper) and dark (the bakery after closing, slate green) themes. Crumb and Co, Pell Street, the prices and times are sample content.

The 3D moment
Today's board is written in chalk line by line as you arrive, then the sold-out lines are struck through and 'sold out' is scribbled beside them, the red ring is drawn round 'two' and a pencil arrow points at the board.
