Kapow
A pop art party site.
Kapow is a website for a one-night event, in the Pop Art style: four flat primaries (sunflower, pop red, cobalt and bubblegum) with ink on clean white, a hero flooded in one colour with the date running up the left edge and circles bleeding off the page, fat poster caps (Bowlby One) over a sturdy sans (Onest), Ben-Day dots, thick outlines, hard offset shadows, starburst sound effects, caption boxes and a comic page. The sample event, Big Dot, its venue, acts, prices and times are invented sample content.

The 3D moment
Pop the balloon: a giant halftone party balloon bobs in the flooded hero; tap it and it stretches, bursts into a POP! starburst, two dozen Ben-Day dots fly out and fall, and the date card drops into its place (anime.js timeline).
What you get
Straight from the template's README, the same file you will find in the repository.
- Home (
index.html): the flooded hero with the headline, a white caption box and the balloon you pop; a live countdown in four comic panels (with an "it happened" state once the date passes); the night as a six-panel comic page in mixed sizes, each panel with its time, caption, number and sound effect; the dress code as a drawn figure on a sunburst whose outfit changes between dots, stripes and colour blocks in four colours; the bill with set times; a ticket with three tiers (one sold out), a quantity stepper, a running total, email validation, a booking state and an ADMIT stamp; know-before-you-go questions; a giant wordmark footer. - Venue and run sheet (
night.html): a clickable floor plan of the venue (mouse, touch or keyboard) with a room card, the run sheet table, and getting there. - 404 (
404.html): the balloon in bits. - Day (default) and night themes, phone to desktop. Night turns the ground ink-black and floods the hero cobalt.
